It was a long time coming, but the women’s 3.5 and 4.0 divisions of the Intraclub Doubles League finally saw their champions crowned. In the 3.5 division (pictured top), Fran Blueher and Kim Griffith defeated Susan Hagemann and Dee Burton 6-4, 6-3. The 4.0 final was an instant classic (despite the grueling wind) that saw Dana Asbury and Liz Fleddermann avenge a regular season loss to Teri McMillan and Jo Cook to the tune of a 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 marathon.
